Camping with the Snow Peak team

Our recent adventure with Snow Peak was more than just a camping trip; it was an immersive experience in outdoor luxury, showcasing the finest in camping gear and expertise. Invited to their UK headquarters, nestled in the scenic Surrey countryside, we were treated to a masterclass in refined outdoor living. Surrounded by fields and the tranquil beauty of nature, we were warmly welcomed by the Snow Peak team: Yasmin, the Wholesale Experience Coordinator; Liam, the Flagship Store Manager; and Seb, the Wholesale & Retail Associate.
Our first task was setting up where we were going to sleep, offering us a firsthand experience of Snow Peak's premium tents. We began with the Amenity Dome, a spacious and elegant tent perfect for two, and the Fal Pro Air 2, designed for those like Seb who prefer a minimalist, lightweight approach to camping. As we set up, it quickly became apparent that this would be no ordinary camping trip—we were about to explore a spectrum of camping styles, each embodying the essence of Snow Peak.
Seb, who had effortlessly set up his tent, soon took charge of the campfire, igniting the Takibi Fire & Grill to prepare a meal that would exceed all expectations. On the menu was a classic Japanese curry, slow-cooked over an open flame. As we gathered around the fire, sitting on low beach-style chairs, eating from titanium plates the iconic titanium sporks, we were struck by how seamlessly comfort and style combined in the Snow Peak experience.
The culinary surprises didn’t end there. "Dessert cheese toastie?" Yasmin’s unexpected offering was a delightful twist to our campfire setting. She skilfully assembled the toasties using the Tramezzino, a must-have piece from Snow Peak's collection.
As dusk descended, we huddled closer to the fire, sharing stories of past adventures. The team recounted tales of camping in the extreme cold of Sweden last December, making us grateful for the mild and dry UK summer evening. With our own sleeping bags, tents, and trusty Mini Hozuki lights in hand, we said our goodnights, taking Yasmin’s advice to keep our eye masks close as we drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, we were greeted with another culinary feast before the task of packing down began. Watching Liam expertly fold the 8-man tent into its bag was a testament to Snow Peak’s commitment to both design and functionality. "I’m well-versed in packing these down," Liam remarked, sharing how they frequently change up store displays so customers can experience the products firsthand.
